My practice
I have practiced clinical psychology for more than twenty-five years with adults going through various periods of distress, questioning or transition. My path has led me to work in private practice as well as in hospital settings, with people presenting a wide range of psychological difficulties. Trained in Venezuela, where I completed a specialization in clinical psychology, I settled in Montreal in 2016. I have been a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec since 2018.
My approach is primarily psychodynamic. I'm interested in how our personal history, our relational experiences and our emotions shape the way we live, think and connect with others.
I completed advanced training in Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP), an evidence-based psychodynamic approach developed for the treatment of personality disorders and relational difficulties.
I see psychotherapy as a privileged space where it's possible to better understand your experience, explore the emotions that live within you, and make sense of what keeps repeating in your story. My goal is to accompany you with openness, authenticity and respect, to foster a better understanding of yourself and lasting change.
