Individual therapy - children & teens
Growing up needs support.
Childhood and adolescence are formative periods. What we live through, what we learn about ourselves and others, the way we go through hardships or are supported - all of it leaves a lasting mark on who we become.
Intervening early means giving a young person the tools to better understand themselves, get through what's difficult, and build solid foundations - before certain difficulties settle in and become more complex over time. It's not about dramatizing a situation, it's about giving it the attention it deserves.
With children, therapeutic work happens through play, drawing, images and other supports suited to their language - because words aren't always their first means of expression. With teenagers, it's more about creating a stable, trusting external framework, a space that truly belongs to them, where they can bring what they're living without having to filter it.
Topics we work with
Parental guidance
Parents play a central role in their child's well-being. That's why we also offer parental guidance meetings - to better understand the difficulties your child is experiencing, adjust family dynamics, and feel less alone facing everyday challenges.
Giftedness discussion group
We offer discussion groups specifically for high-potential youth. These collective spaces allow gifted children to meet peers, share their experience, and realize they're not alone in what they're going through - heightened sensitivity, feeling out of step with others, boredom, perfectionism, intense questioning. A format that's different from, and complementary to, individual therapy, meeting a need that's often overlooked.
